Woody Giessmann teamed up with Simon Kirke (Bad Company & Free), and Boston comedy legend, Tony V for a collaboration with Rock Bottom. All three are people in long term recovery. All three brought their talent to the production of a love story, comedy, and a tragedy about addiction.
Woody became an addiction specialist, and Interventionist in 1993 after his experience as the drummer of the rock band and Warner Brothers Recording Artists The Del Fuegos. He is in long-term recovery, since 1990, and committing himself to helping others with substance use and co-occurring disorders. ROCK BOTTOM is an extension of the work he has done for three decades.

Woody is a Licensed Counselor (LADC), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), Board-Certified Interventionist Professional (CIP), and a long-term member of the Association of Intervention Specialists (AIS). He specializes in an invitational, and a gentle confrontation to working with individuals and families. He prides himself in finding the right providers of treatment of substance use and mental health disorders. Woody integrates clinical best practices with outcomes-driven creative solutions into a full continuum of substance use disorder and co-occurring disorder behavioral health treatment.
Woody founded Right Turn programs as an exciting and innovative platform combining traditional therapies and creative self-expression with evidenced-based arts programming. The program 2003 - 2024 provided emotional as well as creative outlets of commitment to treating the whole person: mind— body—heart, soul & spirit.
